Quarter-Finals Round 4: Batumi - MIA Academy 84-69

Date: May 4, 2014
Batumi cruised past visiting MIA Academy to seal semifinal appearance. The game was mostly controlled by Batumi. MIA was better in fourth quarter 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Batumi brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. The winners were led by Canadian guard Junior Cadougan (187-90, college: Marquette) who scored that evening 23 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Nika Ramishvili (182-94) supported him with 16 points. Four Batumi players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds by Bosnian-Serbian center Mile Ilic (215-84, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for MIA. American guard Parrish Brown (185-84, college: Maryland) added 22 points for lost side. MIA's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
