Kutaisi rallied past Sokhumi in the decisive fifth game of the series and advaned into Superleague semifinals. Sokhumi was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Azerbaijani guard Zaur Pashayev (188-83) stepped up and scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners and the former international Akaki Dvalishvili (206-90) chipped in 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks.
