Galil Gilboa surprised Maccabi Tel-Aviv at home court and tied things up in the series. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 44-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Swingman Amit Simhon (197-89) scored 20 points to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Gerald Robinson (185-89, college: Georgia) chipped in 17 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. International center Alex Tyus (203-88, college: Florida) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and the former international David Blu (204-80, college: USC) scored 19 points. Maccabi T-A's coach David Blatt rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
