Hapoel Eilat overcame Hapoel Tel-Aviv at home court to take 2-0 lead in the quarterfinal series. Hapoel Tel-Aviv trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 20-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-83 at the end of the game. Hapoel Eilat looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Kevin Palmer (198-87, college: Texas A&M-CC) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import guard Terrico White (196-90, college: Mississippi) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. The former international Raviv Limonad (191-84) produced 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Carlon Brown (195-89, college: Colorado) added 21 points respectively for the guests. Four Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures.
