Jamarr Sanders sank a free throw late in regulation as CZG Veroli edged Tezenis Verona to take 2-1 lead in the series. Tezenis VE was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 19-14 charge of CZG Veroli, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for the former international center Alessandro Cittadini (207-79) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Jamarr Sanders (193-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) contributed with 8 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American Craig Callahan (204-81, college: NC-Wilmington) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Jerry Smith (188-87, college: Louisville) added 14 points in the effort for Tezenis VE.
