Tin Kalev prevailed against visiting Tarvas in the first game of the consolation final series. BC Rakvere was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 42-25 second half run of Tln Kalev. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to BC Rakvere's 34. They outrebounded BC Rakvere 46-24 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Mario Paiste (184-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. Ghanian-American Asenso Ampim (203-88, college: Columbia) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Latvian swingman Juris Umbrasko (197-79) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and guard Mihkel Kurg (190-87) added 15 points in the effort for BC Rakvere. Four Tln Kalev and five BC Rakvere players scored in double figures.
