Quarter-Finals Round 4: Matera - Treviglio 84-82

Matera eked out a tough home win victory over Treviglio to book the semifinal appearance. Treviglio was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 28-23 charge of Matera, which allowed them to win the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Treviglio helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Anthony Jones (191-84, college: Indiana Tech) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Kyle Austin (203-88, college: Cal-Riverside) who added 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Francesco Ihedioha (196-86) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Czech Tomas Kyzlink (195-93) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
