Semi-Finals Game 2: Dinamo Tbilisi - Batumi 96-69

Dinamo Tbilisi held off Batumi and grabbed 2-0 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Dinamo Tbilisi. Batumi was better in fourth quarter 26-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dinamo Tbilisi dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Batumi's 32 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Batumi 42-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Dinamo Tbilisi players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Batumi's players. Montenegrin center Stevan Milosevic (211-85, agency: Interperformances) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and American-Jamaican forward Keyon Carter (206-88, college: ODU, agency: Two Points) supported him with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Four Dinamo Tbilisi players scored in double figures. Even 27 points and 5 rebounds by Canadian guard Junior Cadougan (187-90, college: Marquette) did not help to save the game for Batumi. American swingman Jeremy Saffold (198-91, college: Wisc.-Parkside, agency: N.E.T.) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
