A very close game took place in Puerto Ordaz between Guaros and Gigantes. Second ranked Guaros (3-5) got a very close victory on the road over 3rd placed Gigantes (2-4). Guaros managed to escape with a 3-point win 76-73 in the game for the second place. Guaros maintains second place in Group B with 3-5 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Cocodrilos. Gigantes at the other side keep the third position with four games lost. Guaros will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Gigantes will play against the league's leader Cocodrilos in Caracas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
