Maccabi Haifa prevailed against Ironi Nes-Ziona to surge ahead in the series. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Maccabi Haifa's pressure prevailed and they won that period 29-16 extending their advantage to 17 points. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Ironi Nes-Ziona was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American Terrence Roderick (196-88, college: UAB, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 5 rebounds.
