Hapoel Jerusalem fired past Hapoel Holon to take 2-1 lead in the series. It looked good early as Hapoel Holon took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Hapoel Jerusalem had a 29-19 second period charge getting the lead and Hapoel Holon was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-85. Hapoel Jerusalem made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Hapoel Jerusalem outrebounded Hapoel Holon 35-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Bracey Wright (191-84, college: Indiana, agency: Priority Sports) who led the winners and scored 23 points. International Lior Eliyahu (206-85, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) accounted for 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. American swingman D.J. Kennedy (198-89, college: St.John's) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Shlomi Harush (185-87) added 14 points respectively for Hapoel Holon in the defeat. Five Hapoel Jerusalem and four Hapoel Holon players scored in double figures.
