Semi-Finals Game 1: Sagesse - Amchit 106-83

Sagesse cruised past Amchit to gain 1-0 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Sagesse. Amchit was better in third quarter 31-29. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Amchit 38-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. Sagesse players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists. American guard Dewarick Spencer (193-82, college: Arkansas St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) nailed 31 points and 5 steals for the winning side and Australian power forward Julian Khazzouh (209-86) accounted for 23 points and 11 rebounds. Four Sagesse players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) came up with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and French Ali Traore (208-85, college: S.Idaho JC, agency: Beo Basket) added 28 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Amchit in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
