EWE Basket held off Telekom Baskets in overtime to spur ahead in the series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 19-17 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 1-point victory in overtime. EWE Baskets made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Chris Kramer (191-88, college: Purdue) who scored 9 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Rickey Paulding (196-82, college: Missouri) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. EWE Baskets' coach Sebastian Machowski used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game.
