Stelmet Zielona Gora defeated Trefl Sopot and pulled ahead for 1-0 lead in the series. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-75. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Montenegrin power forward Vladimir Dragicevic (206-86) contributed with 16 points for the winners. The former international Pawel Leonczyk (202-86) answered with 16 points and 8 rebounds and international swingman Adam Waczynski (199-89) added 15 points in the effort for Trefl Sopot. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
