Poitiers handed the second straight deafet to Fos Ouest and sealed the semifinal appearance. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-77. 26 personal fouls committed by Fos Ouest helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American-British power forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-88, college: Le Moyne) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Moustapha Fall (218-92) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) during the contest. Five Poitiers players scored in double figures.
