Prat defeated Palma in the LEB Silver Finals opener. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Prat outrebounded Palma 38-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. Swingman Alberto Abalde (200-95) stepped up and scored 27 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and center Victor Serrano (211-89) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Prat players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Antonio Pantin (206-88, agency: Interperformances) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and center Antoni Vicens (203-90) scored 18 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
