Finals Game 3: Groningen - Den Bosch 92-85

Groningen outgunned Den Bosch to regain the lead in the Eredivisie championship series. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 92-85. Groningen made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Groningen especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. 30 personal fouls committed by Den Bosch helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American point guard Cashmere Wright (183-90, college: Cincinnati, agency: Three Eye Sports) who led his team to a victory with 31 points. His fellow American import swingman Jason Dourisseau (196-83, college: Nebraska) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Groningen players scored in double figures. Groningen's coach Ivica Skelin used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Tai Wesley (200-86, college: Utah St.) answered with 22 points and the former international Kees Akerboom (200-83, agency: Court Side) added 21 points in the effort for Den Bosch.
