Emporio Armani breezed past Pistoia to pull ahead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Armani Milano. Tuscany Pistoia was better in third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Armani Milano forced 19 Tuscany Pistoia turnovers. The former international Nicolo Melli (205-91) nailed 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville, agency: Three Eye Sports) accounted for 10 points. American guard Brad Wanamaker (193-89, college: Pittsburgh) came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import swingman Deron Washington (201-85, college: Virginia Tech) added 11 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Tuscany Pistoia in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
