Dinamo Tbilisi fired past Kutaisi to earn 1-0 lead in the Superleague Finals. The game without a history. Dinamo Tbilisi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kutaisi to just 7 points in third quarter. Dinamo Tbilisi dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Kutaisi's 22. Dinamo Tbilisi forced 21 Kutaisi turnovers and outrebounded them 48-31 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dinamo Tbilisi looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Kutaisi's players. At the losing side the former international Akaki Dvalishvili (206-90) responded with 11 points and 5 rebounds and Levani Grdzelidze (185-94) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
