Kutaisi defeated Dinamo Tbilisi to narrow the deficit in the Superleague Finals. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Dinamo Tbilisi won third quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kutaisi shot 60.3 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for the former international Akaki Dvalishvili (206-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Forward Giorgi Barbakadze (203-91) helped adding 21 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was international Besik Lezhava (192-86) with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Montenegrin center Stevan Milosevic (211-85, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
