Finals Game 2: PAOK - Panionios 81-63

PAOK fired past Panionios at home court and grabbed 2-0 lead in the consolation final series. It looked good early as Panionios took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then PAOK had a 25-15 second period charge getting the lead and Panionios was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-81. American point guard D.J. Cooper (183-90, college: Ohio, agency: N.E.T.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Evaggelis Margaritis (200-82) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five PAOK players scored in double figures. American guard Marc Antonio Carter (191-85, college: NC-Wilmington) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Kevin Langford (204-85, college: TCU) added 14 points in the effort for Panionios. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
