Finals Game 1: MZT Skopje - Rabotnicki 96-79

ZMT Skopje victoriously opened the Prva Liga Finals. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-79. MZT Skopje outrebounded Rabotnicki 40-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Stefan Sinovec (195-88) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. International Damjan Stojanovski (197-87) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. The former international guard Darko Sokolov (190-86) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and international swingman Marko Simonovski (192-89, agency: Interperformances) added 16 points in the effort for Rabotnicki. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
