Trento went on a furious comeback rally in the fourth quarter and snatched a decisive victory in the fifth game of the semifinal series against PMS Torino. The hosts trailed by 12 points after three quarters before their 23-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Filippo Baldi Rossi (207-91) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Timothy Bowers (188-82, college: Mississippi St.) produced 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international power forward Valerio Amoroso (204-80) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four PMS Torino players scored in double figures.
