Semi-Finals Game 3: Hapoel J-M - Maccabi Haifa 70-63

Hapoel Jerusalem drew first blood in the semifinal series versus Maccabi Haifa. Hapoel earn home victory to narrow the deficit at 1-2. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-11. But Maccabi Haifa won second period 16-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Hapoel Jerusalem won last quarter 24-19. They made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. 29 personal fouls committed by Maccabi Haifa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American guard Bracey Wright (191-84, college: Indiana, agency: Priority Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import Josh Duncan (203-86) helped adding 18 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American-Venezuelan Donta Smith (200-83, college: SE Illinois JC) with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and American Terrence Roderick (196-88, college: UAB, agency: Interperformances) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds.
