Sassari bounced back from the starting loss and upset Emporio Armani on the road to even the series at 1-1. The guests trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 59-43 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Banco di Srd shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Caleb Green (203-85, college: ORU) who scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American-FYR Macedonian point guard Marques Green (165-82, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 assists. Four Banco di Srd players scored in double figures. International swingman Alessandro Gentile (200-92) produced 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American David Moss (196-83, college: Indiana St., agency: SportsTalent) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
