Finals Game 4: Olympiacos - Panathinaikos 65-67

Panathinaikos edged Olympiacos in Piraeus to even the championship series. The decisive fifth game is scheduled for Wednesday. Olympiacos trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 20-10 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 65-67 at the end of the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Olympiacos helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Gabonese center Stephane Lasme (203-82, college: Massachusetts) fired 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Dimitris Diamantidis (196-80) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. American-Belgian guard Matt Lojeski (198-85, college: Hawaii) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and American power forward Bryant Dunston (203-86) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Olympiacos players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
