Dinamo Sassari came from behind to force overtime but Emporio Armani came out on top in the extra period and gained 2-1 lead in the semifinal series. Banco di Srd trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 21-9 run in the last quarter tied the game at the end of regular time, But then they lost eventually overtime period 7-14. Armani Milano made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Banco di Srd was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was international swingman Alessandro Gentile (200-92) who scored 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Caleb Green (203-85, college: ORU) who recorded 18 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Drake Diener (196-81, college: De Paul, agency: Priority Sports) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
