Culiacan bounced back after the starting loss and raced past Los Mochis to even the series. The game was mostly controlled by Caballeros de Culiacan. Pioneros Los Mochis managed to win second period 21-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Caballeros de Culiacan shot 63.2 percent from the field and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Caballeros de Culiacan outrebounded Pioneros Los Mochis 42-21 including a 31-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Leroy Davis (200-81, college: Georgia St.) had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists (perfect from the field making all thirteen shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St., agency: I.D.S. Law) chipped in 22 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Guard D'angelo Jackson (185, college: Miss.Valley St.) responded with 19 points and 5 assists and guard William Funn (188-82, college: Portland St.) scored 9 points, 11 assists and 4 steals.
