Guasave are now 2-0 up on Nogales following a tough home victory in Game 2. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 42-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Fuerza Guinda Nogales outrebounded Frayles de Guasave 42-30 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center DeAngelo Riley (206-88, college: Azusa Pacific) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward John Millsap (198-82, college: UTSA) chipped in 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Millsap is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Frayles de Guasave players scored in double figures. American forward Jeremis Smith (203-86, college: Georgia Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Michael Strobbe (201-85) scored 9 points and 14 rebounds.
