Guaymas overcame Tijuana in front of home fans to gain the first win in the playoffs. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 44-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for point guard Myron Allen (182-79, college: Lee JC) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists. Forward Billy White (203-89, college: San Diego St.) helped adding 28 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was swingman Marcus Morrison (198-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Trayvon Lathan (201-84, college: Chowan, agency: Elite Talent Exchange) scored 18 points. Five Tijuana Zonkeys players scored in double figures.
