Tijuana upset Guaymas on the road and jumped to a 3-1 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Tijuana Zonkeys. Ostioneros de Guaymas managed to win third quarter 27-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Americans were the main players on the court. Swingman Marcus Morrison (198-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) fired 27 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Trayvon Lathan (201-84, college: Chowan, agency: Elite Talent Exchange) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Worth to mention Lathan played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. Five Tijuana Zonkeys players scored in double figures. Guard Shannon Shorter (193-89, college: N.Texas) produced 27 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Billy White (203-89, college: San Diego St.) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Ostioneros de Guaymas' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
