Finals Game 4: Aalstar - Oostende 84-79

Aalstar gained the crucial victory in the fourth game of the championship series and forced decider. The teams will clash in a winner-takes-it-all battle on Monday in Oostende. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Oostende won third quarter 18-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Okapi Aalstar made 25-of-26 free shots (96.2 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Oostende helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Da'Sean Butler (201-88, college: W.Virginia, agency: KMG Sports Management) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and the other American import Derek Raivio (190-84, college: Gonzaga) who added 20 points (made all of his ten free throws !!!) during the contest. Four Okapi Aalstar players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian guard Dusan Djordjevic (193-83, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and American guard Ryan Thompson (198-89, college: Rider) scored 21 points. Oostende's coach Dario Gjergja tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
