Finals Game 1: Scafati - Ambrosia Lions B. 91-68

Scafati cruised past Ambrosia Lions to surge ahead in the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Scafati. Ambrosia Lions B. was better in fourth quarter 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Scafati dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Ambrosia Lions B.'s 32. They outrebounded Ambrosia Lions B. 43-31 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Roberto Chiacig (210-74) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. point guard Vincenzo Di Capua (186-87) contributed with 19 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Scafati players scored in double figures. Power forward Andrea Storchi (200-79) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and forward Mathias Drigo (202-89) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Ambrosia Lions B.The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
