Emporio Armani cruised past Banco di Sardegna on the road to clinch SeriaA Finals appearance. The game was mostly controlled by Armani Milano. Banco di Srd managed to win third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Armani Milano dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Banco di Srd's 36. They outrebounded Banco di Srd 38-18 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American-Turkish Keith Langford (193-83, college: Kansas) who scored 24 points. Nigerian-American power forward Gani Lawal (205-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Drake Diener (196-81, college: De Paul, agency: Priority Sports) who recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Drew Gordon (205-90, college: N.Mexico) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
