Culiacan stunned Los Mochin on the road to force the decisive seventh game in the series. The game without a history. Caballeros de Culiacan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Caballeros de Culiacan looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American swingman Rene Rougeau (198-86, college: UNLV) scored 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St., agency: I.D.S. Law) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Caballeros de Culiacan players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard William Funn (188-82, college: Portland St.) with 15 points and 7 assists and the former international guard Carlos Toussaint (190-91) scored 12 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
