Real Madrid toppled Unicaja in overtime to punch Finals ticket. Unicaja Malaga was better in second period 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Unicaja Malaga used huge pressure winning it 18-17 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 6-16. Real Madrid looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Real Madrid made 7 blocks. Unicaja Malaga was plagued by 44 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Felipe Reyes (206-80) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds. International Sergio Llull (192-87) contributed with 22 points and 8 assists for the winners. The former international forward Carlos Suarez (203-86, agency: Court Side) replied with 12 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and American guard Ryan Toolson (193-85, college: Utah Valley) added 17 points in the effort for Unicaja Malaga. Unicaja Malaga's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
