Marcelinho Huertas sank a buzzer-beating jumper and propelled FCB Regal to the decisive third victory in the semifinal series versus Valencia. FCB Regal therefore advanced into Liga Endesa Finals where they would face arch-rivals Real Madrid. The guests trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 27-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Regal FC Barcelona looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. 42 personal fouls committed by Valencia Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Brazilian-Italian point guard Marcelinho Huertas (191-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists.
