Finals Game 5: Al Riyadi - Sagesse 88-82

Al Riyadi gained the third victory in the Lebanese League Finals against Sagesse. The fifth game of the series was postponed numerous times before finally having been played tonight. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 51-44 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Al Riyadi dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Sagesse's 34 and made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. International swingman Jean Abdel Nour (198-83) stepped up and scored 25 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and the former international forward Ali Haidar (201-90, college: Michigan Tech) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. Five Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. American guard Dewarick Spencer (193-82, college: Arkansas St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) responded with 32 points and 9 rebounds and Australian power forward Julian Khazzouh (209-86) scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
