Guasave overcame Tijuana for the second consecutive victory in the semifinal series. Tijuana Zonkeys were tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for forward John Millsap (198-82, college: UTSA) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 9 rebounds. Center DeAngelo Riley (206-88, college: Azusa Pacific) accounted for 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Millsap is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Guard Trayvon Lathan (201-84, college: Chowan, agency: Elite Talent Exchange) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward James Penny (198-76, college: TCU) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Tijuana Zonkeys in the defeat. Five Tijuana Zonkeys players scored in double figures.
