Finals Game 5: EA7 Armani - Montepaschi 68-72

Montepaschi Siena claimed the third consecutive victory in the SeriaA Finals. They upset Emporio Armani in Milan to gain 3-2 lead in the title series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-15. But Armani Milano won second period 18-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Liberian-American power forward Othello Hunter (203-86, college: Ohio St., agency: David Lee services) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Josh Carter (200-88, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. American-Turkish Keith Langford (193-83, college: Kansas) produced 14 points and American point guard Curtis Jerrells (185-87, college: Baylor) added 13 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
