The USA conquered the FIBA Americas U18 Championship title. They outscored Canadian counterparts in the Final in Colorado Springs on Tuesday. The victory marked the seventh success for the United States in the history of the tournament. Justice Winslow stepped up with 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the winners. The USA grabbed a 21:15 lead after the opening quarter. They maintained the lead throughout the second frame. The USA piled up a 49:35 halftime advantage. They went on a 36:18 run in the third quarter and cleared off to a comfortable 32-point distance at the final break. Canada could not recover and had to surrender at the end. Stanley Johnson chipped in 19 points, while Isaiah Briscoe added 14 points for the winners. Dillon Brooks answered with 27 points for Canada. Montaque Gill-Caesar produced 22 points in the loss.
