Quarter-Finals Round 6: IRAN - JORDAN 75-60

Iran advanced into the semifinal stage of the 5th FIBA Asia Cup. They knocked down Jordan in the quarterfinal clash tonight. Jamshidi nailed 26 points to lead the defending champions. Iran jumped to a 21:12 lead ten minutes into the game. They held Jordan to just 10 points in the second frame to take an 11-point halftime advantage. Iran accounted for a 51:38 lead at the final break and maintained it throughout the fourth period. Hamed Haddadi provided 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Rasheim Wright and Ahmad Al-Dwairi tossed in 14 points each for Jordan.
