Semi-Finals Game 7: INDIA - JORDAN 65-69

Jordan escaped with a narrow win over India at the classification round of the 5th FIBA Asia Cup. Ahmad Al-Dwairi scored 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to pace the winning side. Jordan will now take on Japan for the fifth overall position. India will play versus Singapore tomorrow. India continued their impressive performance at the tournament with a 17:11 run in the first period. They maintained the lead throughout the second term. India entered the second half up by six points 27:21. But Jordan shifted the gear in the second half. They sank 26 points in the third term to level things up. Jordan used a 22:18 run in the fourth period to escape with a narrow victory at the end. Mohammed Hussein had 10 points, while Rasheim Wright provided 8 points in the victory. Vishesh responded with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for India. Amjyot Singh netted 14 points in the loss.
