The Saigon Heat opened their ASEAN League regular season campaign with victory. They knocked down the Indonesia Warriors at home court today. Justin Williams stepped up with 18 points and 21 rebounds for the winners. The Heat recorded a 16:13 lead after the first frame. They maintained the advantage throughout the second quarter. Saigon accounted for a 33:26 halftime lead. The Heat triggered a 20:9 run in the third term to clear off to an 18-point distance at the final intermission. The Warriors cut the distance in the fourth frame but could not avoid the defeat. Dustin Scott had 18 points, while David Arnold chipped in 14 points for the winners. Tremayne Johnson responded with 20 points and 14 rebounds for the Warriors. Chris Barnes had 11 points in the loss.
