India occupied the seventh overall position in FIBA Asia Cup. They outgunned Singapore in the final game at the tournament. Amjyot Singh stepped up with 30 points to pace the winners. India registered a 26:10 lead after the opening quarter. They held Singapore to just 3 points in the second frame and opened a 49:13 halftime lead. India stayed in full control throughout the second half. They limited Singapore to 23 points in the next two periods and sealed the winning outcome. Amrit Pal Singh connected for 13 points and collected 10 rebounds, while Narender Kumar contributed 14 points for the winners. Desmond Oh responded with 13 points for Singapore. Goh had 8 points in the defeat.
