Cuba defended their title of Centrobasket. They overcame Puerto Rico 58:47 in the Final game and clinched the title. Both teams head to the Pan American Games in Toronto in 2015. Cuba and Puerto Rico played in the Final of the last edition. Two years ago Cuba clinched 2012 Centrobasket title in Morovis. The Cubans overcame the hosts of the tournament 78:63 in the Final game. That victory was number 47 in row for Cuba team in Centrobasket. Tonight Cuba started with a 15-6 surge and led 9 points at the half-time. Moreover Cuba posted a 16-14 rally in the third period and sealed the victory. Amargo Yamara top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Casanova Ineidis netted 13. Noblet Clenia delivered 12, whilst Gelis Oyanaisy had 7. Cortijo Carla poured in 21 points in a loss and Placido Marie chipped in 8.
