The Singapore Slingers recorded the second win in the ASEAN League season. They held off the Saigon Heat at home court. Wong Wei Long recorded 23 points to pace the winners. The Slingers jumped at 26:13 lead after the first frame. The Heat cut the distance at 11-point mark at the interval 35:46. The visitors pulled closer in the third period. The Heat got within 3 points at the final intermission. The teams traded baskets throughout the fourth stanza but the Slingers secured the winning outcome at the end. Hua Sen Larry Liew and Jeffers Kyle netted 16 points each for the winners. Justin Williams responded with 20 points for the Heat. David Arnold provided 19 points in the loss.
