Preliminary Round Day 3: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - PANAMA 71-56

The defending champions rout Panama in Day 3 of the Centrobasket 2014. Dominican Republic posted a 71:56 win for a 2-0 record in Group B. Panama meanwhile fell at 1-2 record. First two quarters were similar, but brought the carousel in the game. At first Dominican Republic erupted with a 25-4 start, but then Panama replied with a 31-6 burst in the second frame. In the second half Dominican Republic dominated the court and posted two victories in the half for the final result. Maye James led the way with 16 points and Fortuna Elpidio notched 15. Camacho Eloy delivered 14, whilst Santana Edward had 12. Pinnock Danilo ended up with 17 points in the losing effort. Hicks Michael chipped in 14 and Ayarza Josimar shot 10.
