Preliminary Round Day 3: EL SALVADOR - PUERTO RICO 58-93

Puerto Rico remain undefeated in Nayarit as they improved to 3-0 record at the Centrobasket 2014. Puerto Rico won over El salvador 93:58 and sent them to 0-2 record. El Salvador stayed tough in the first ten minuted but allowed the favorites to take 17-16 lead. Later on Puerto Rico pushed the tempo for good and sealed another victory. They posted a 22-15 in the second frame and added 24-17 rally in the third quarter. Moreover Puerto Rico exploded with a 30-10 burst in the last stanza to clinch the third straight victory. Rosario Michael paced all the winners with 19 points and Rivera Carlos produced 15. Clemente Ramon delivered 12, while Carmona Alejandro had 11. Valladares James replied with 20 points in a loss and Arias Alejandro shot 12. Mancia Julio scored 10 points for El Salvador.
