Semi-Finals Game 6: MEXICO - CUBA 85-70

Gustavo Ayon leads Mexico to the Final of the Centrobasket 2014. He erupted with 28 points and 15 rebounds as Mexico overcame Cuba 85:70. Mexico started the game with a massive 25-12 run and dominated the court. Cuba however reduced to 10 points at the half-time after a 20-17 rally in the second frame. Another 24-19 run allowed Mexico to take 15-point advantage after 30 minutes and a ticket to the final. Francisco Cruz scored 15 points in a win and Hector Hernandez delivered 14. Osmel Oliva ended up with 15 points in a loss and Javier Justiz chipped in 12. Tomorrow Mexico will take on Puerto Rico in the Final game, while Cuba will play against Dominican Republic in the game for the 3rd place. All four teams already secured a place at the 2015 Fiba Americas Championship.
